Choosing the right pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape is essential to ensure performance, durability, and reliability across different industries. From everyday packaging to complex aerospace and electrical insulation needs, every tape in our range is designed with a purpose.

Corrosion Resistance

For environments with moisture, chemicals, or metals, corrosion resistance is key.

BNS. NyAF (Nylon) and BNSPTFE feature non-corrosive, moisture-resistant adhesives, making them reliable for electrical and automotive harnessing.
BNS 461 and Efreind Copper provide durable corrosion protection in both insulating and conductive applications.

Printability

If labeling or customization is required, BNS.PGC and BNSDSTLam are ideal. Their printable, high-tack surfaces allow color-coding, branding, and process identification.
These tapes come in various colors such as natural, white, amber, copper, and transparent, offering both functionality and aesthetic flexibility.

Thickness and Conformability

The right tape thickness ensures proper insulation and surface conformity. Our range spans from 50 µm (ultra-thin films) to 240 µm (reinforced laminates).

Removability

For easy removal after use, BNS 461 and BNSPTFE are ideal. Their silicone-based adhesives allow clean peeling even after heat exposure, making them perfect for masking or wrapping.

For permanent adhesion, BNSDST and Efreind Copper tapes use acrylic systems that create strong, durable bonds suited for mounting and structural purposes. Choose removable tapes for temporary masking or surface treatment and permanent ones for long-term insulation or assembly.

Breakdown Volatage

Breakdown voltage measures how much voltage a tape can withstand before electrical failure. The higher the BDV, the better the insulation performance.

BNS Pi050Si (Polyimide Tape) can handle up to 6 kV, while BNSPTFE (PTFE Film Tape) withstands up to 7 kV — both ideal for high-voltage insulation.
BNS.PGC offers 4.5 kV and is well-suited for general electrical insulation, while BNSDST and BNS 050PST deliver 2–3 kV for medium-duty applications.

Always select a tape with a BDV comfortably higher than your circuit’s peak voltage.

Electrical Resistance

For electrical applications, insulation quality is crucial. Materials and adhesives differ significantly in how well they resist voltage stress.

BNS.PGC and BNS 461 (Glass Cloth) tapes provide excellent dielectric strength, maintaining insulation integrity in transformer banding, coil wrapping, and wire harnessing.

If your application requires conductivity, Efreind Copper Tape is the right choice. Its conductive acrylic adhesive ensures consistent grounding, EMI/RFI shielding, and easy solderability for electronic assemblies.

Temperature Resistance

Temperature tolerance shows how stable a tape remains under heat or cold. Our range spans Class E (105–120°C) to Class H (260°C). For general industrial use, tapes like BNS.PGC and BNSDST perform reliably in Class B–F conditions. For high-temperature needs such as soldering, PCB masking, transformers, or aerospace insulation, BNS Pi050Si and BNSPTFE offer exceptional stability thanks to their silicone adhesive systems. For moderate temperatures up to 180°C, BNS 050PST delivers strong dielectric performance. Always choose a tape rated above your operating temperature to ensure long-term durability.
